Since a couple of months i’m active in the sport Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It is a fast growing sport with a lot of benefits for the mind and body.
Training martial arts is one of the most beneficial things I’ve ever done, mentally and physically, but getting over the beginner’s hump was where a chunk of those benefits came from.
At first i was like, what is fun about sweaty people rolling around with each other?
Well i tell you: It was fun like fuck.
It is a intense training, nothing like i have ever done. Especially the sparring part is difficult in the beginning. But after you are past the beginner’s hump, its so much fun.
The gains of training BJJ is getting moreself-confidence, meeting new people, get a lot stronger and no more back problems. After a couple of rolls you will realize that in a street fight you are nothing without it.
This sport can make you happier in your daily life.
